Join us in celebrating the incredible life of Western New York artist Eleanor Cohen (married name, Eleanor Paterson) (1940-2024) at Saratoga Arts. The Neave Trio will perform Ellie’s favorite composers, as she requested: Robert Paterson, Igor Stravinsky, and Peter Tchaikovsky. Music, tributes, food, and sangria (her favorite!) will be provided. These performances will take place while teaching composition, giving seminars, and directing the Contemporary Music Ensemble and Contemporary Music Program with Victoria Paterson. Up to eight composers from around the world who have new or recent works performed by the Contemporary Music Ensemble will be selected to take part in this program.
